Product announcements¶
Stackify uses announcements to tell you about new features and planned maintenance. They come from Stackify itself — not from your workspace admins, and not from other users.
Where they appear¶
As a banner, directly under the navigation bar. Important announcements — a new feature, a maintenance window — appear here so you see them on your next visit without having to go looking.
In the notification bell, alongside activity on your cards. Smaller notes go straight here without interrupting you, and they count toward the bell's unread badge.
One banner shows at a time. Dismiss it and the next one, if there is one, takes its place.
Dismissing an announcement¶
Click the × on the banner, or open the announcement in the notification bell. Either way it won't interrupt you again.
Dismissal follows you, not the workspace you happen to be in — if you belong to several workspaces, dismissing an announcement once clears it everywhere.
Announcements you've already dismissed stay readable in the notification bell, greyed out, so a banner you clicked away by reflex isn't lost.
Maintenance notices¶
An announcement about scheduled maintenance has no × and cannot be dismissed. It disappears on its own when the window it describes has passed.
Language¶
Announcements follow the language you've chosen in Stackify. Where a Swedish translation exists you'll see it; otherwise the announcement appears in English. Change your language from the switcher in the user menu.
Note
Announcements are shown in the app only. Stackify won't email you about them, and there's nothing to unsubscribe from.
