Calendar widgets¶
A calendar widget plots events on a calendar from one of your cards, using a date field.
Configure a calendar¶
When you add a Calendar widget (or open its ⋮ menu and choose Edit to reconfigure one), you'll set:
- Source card — which card's records the calendar reads from
- Date field — the date each event is plotted on
- End date field (optional) — for events that span more than one day
- Event label field (optional) — a field whose value is shown on each event
- Color by (optional) — a saved Measure. Each day is aggregated across the events on it and shaded on a color scale from low to high, so days with, say, a higher total Amount stand out more.
Interacting with events¶
Click an event to open its record.
Access¶
A calendar widget only shows what its viewer already has access to. If a workspace member doesn't have access to a calendar's source card, they'll see a "you don't have access to this card's data" message instead of the calendar — the rest of the dashboard still works normally.
