Map widgets

A map widget plots pins on a map from one of your cards.

Configure a map

When you add a Map widget (or open its menu and choose Edit to reconfigure one), you'll set:

  • Source card — which card's records the map reads from
  • Location field — a Map point field on the source card
  • Pin label field (optional) — a field whose value is shown alongside each pin
  • Size by (optional) — a saved Measure. Pins that share the same location are grouped together and sized by that measure's value, so a cluster with a bigger total or count gets a bigger pin.

Interacting with pins

Click a pin's popup, or the pin itself when it represents a single record, to open that record.

Access

A map widget only shows what its viewer already has access to. If a workspace member doesn't have access to a map's source card, they'll see a "you don't have access to this card's data" message instead of the map — the rest of the dashboard still works normally.
