Linking notes and cards¶
Linking notes together¶
Type [[Note Title]] to link to another note by name. If the note exists, it becomes a clickable link; if it doesn't exist yet, it renders as a dashed "create note" link you can click to create it on the spot.
Use [[Note Title|custom text]] to show different link text than the note's title.
Backlinks¶
Open any note and look at the panel on the right — it lists every other note that links to the one you're viewing, so you can navigate your wiki in both directions.
Linking to a card¶
To reference one of your cards from a note, insert a link in the form:
This renders as a chip that navigates straight to that card. (The card's id is easiest to grab from its URL while viewing it.)
Both wikilinks and card links work in either mode of the note editor, and can be inserted by typing the syntax directly.
