Notes (linked wiki)

Notes are a workspace-wide, linked markdown wiki — a place for the write-up that goes alongside your structured data: meeting notes, project plans, runbooks, anything better expressed in prose than in a table.

Notes are available on every plan, including Free. The Free plan is capped at 5 notes per workspace; Teams and Business are unlimited.

Create a note

  1. Click Notes from the workspace home page.
  2. Click + New Note, give it a title, and start writing.

Notes support standard GitHub-flavored markdown, with a dedicated editor for writing and formatting, and can link to other notes and to cards.

The Notes list has a search box that searches both titles and note bodies, ranking results by relevance and showing a snippet of matching text.

Embedding a note on a dashboard

A Markdown widget on a View can either hold its own text, or embed a Note directly — pick "note" mode when adding the widget. An embedded note always shows the note's current content; editing happens on the note itself, from the Notes page.
